In 2020 Ghent is celebrating the work of the Van Eyck brothers.

Wolvis is delighted to be invited by the city of Ghent to create 4 new designs, taking their inspiration from the famous Ghent Altarpiece. The artworks's many richly painted, magnificently attired figures, provide inspiration for this exclusive collection of Van Eyck scarves.

The 4 designs, knitted with a painterly trompe l'oeil technique, are titled John the Baptist, Prophet Micha, Prophet Zaccharia and John the Evangelist.

The scarves are available on our webshop, and from January 2020, in the museum shops of Ghent.
