Tonight we meet furniture designer Alexandre Lowie!
Alexandre Lowie is a master of crafting bespoke furniture and objects. A few years back, I stumbled upon his atelier by accident, and I was utterly captivated. The atelier, nestled in the heart of an old industrial part of Ghent, exuded the rich aroma of wood. Since then, Alexandre, both as an individual and in the pursuit of his craft, has lingered in my thoughts. Just recently, we had a conversation about the evolution of our work. Alexandre shared that he is currently immersed in a more organic phase of his creative journey, so it was no wonder that Alexandre selected a scarf from our ‘I’m in the woods, it’s silent here’ collection.
