From time to time, we portray an #itsawolvisfriend*.

Meet An-Katriend, CEO and brand strategists at Marnix & Ally.

Who are you? What do you do?

I’m An-Katrien Dullers, manager of Marnix & Ally, an agency in brand strategy and PR. I’m also the mother of Jerôme (6) and Frances Mae (4).

How are you connected to wolvis?

It started as a collaboration to enhance the brand awareness of wolvis. But very quickly, we’ve started to work together a lot more intense, at brand strategy level. We’ve outlined the complete brand and grow strategy. I’m very proud to be part of this wolvis story. Griet is doing a great job making the brand future proof. 100% Belgian, local fashion… exactly my cup of tea.

What do you associate wolvis with?

With sleek design and architecture, but also very strongly with nature.

Who would you like to give a wolvis to? Why?

To as many people as possible (laughs). I really think these scarves can suit a lot of different people, despite their specific design…

If I have to choose, I’ll choose my husband, because he has a minimalist style and is a real nature lover. I think 21st of December would suit him well.

When and how did you get to know wolvis?

Four years ago, Griet and I had a first meeting to explore whether we could work together. I have a big heart for sustainable Belgian fashion, so we stayed in touch until there was room for wolvis to start this collaboration with us.

What’s your favorite item from the Lieux de Mémoire collection?

I’ve chosen this 15th of May because it fits well with my winter wardrobe. I don’t often wear bright colours and mostly stay within a subtle colour palette.

How do you like to wear your wolvis? What do you combine your scarf with?

As often as possible! I’m always cold, so from the moment it gets chilly, I’ll wear a scarf. The nice thing about this one is its versatility. During cold winter days, I can wear it wrapped up around my neck for warmth and cosiness. But it’s perfect on a fancy night out as well!

Why does this scarf have a special meaning to you?

This collection is about memories. For me, a great memory has come to life. I now have this picture of myself and my kids, who are the most important persons in the world to me.

What’s your most beautiful memory so far with your wolvis scarf?

The photoshoot, a fantastic moment. My son had a little experience already. My daughter didn’t, so she was a bit too excited at first. From the moment we started, they were very calm and relaxed. I’ll always connect this beautiful memory with this scarf.

*#itsawolvisfriend is a remarkable person who loves softness and poetry, someone who inspires with what they say and touches with what they do (or vice versa)... They are part of our #itsawolvis community, a family where connection can start with a curious "Is that a wolvis?" or a subtle nod of recognition.
