Meet Charlotte, public relations manager.
Who are you? What do you do?
I’m Charlotte Spens, a 27 year old PR manager at Marnix & Ally.
How are you connected to wolvis?
Wolvis is one of the Marnix & Ally clients. I spread the wolvis story (and love) as Griet’s personal PR manager. This means that I manage the relationship between wolvis and external media partners, relevant influencers or other organizations.
What do you associate wolvis with?
Quality, poetry, creativity, made in Belgium, architecture, warmth, comfort and cosiness.
Who would you like to give a wolvis to? Why?
To my boyfriend, because autumn colours suit him well. 21st of December would be the perfect scarf for him. He already knows… this will be his Christmas present!
When and how did you get to know wolvis?
Wolvis is a Marnix & Ally client and I represent the brand since a year. Even before, I was already a big fan of the brand, so this was a perfect match! I find the process of inspiration behind every wolvis collection particularly fascinating. There is a story behind each collection and that story becomes a concept that Griet thoughtfully elaborates into the smallest details. The names of the scarves, for example, how beautiful! Wolvis scarves are made of 100% merino too, so they are super soft and pleasant to wear.
What’s your favorite item from the Lieux de Mémoire collection?
I have chosen 15th of May. I like to wear colours, but not for an entire outfit. That’s why I match colourful items with timeless quality pieces. My favourite? 50 shades of beige… Enter 15th of May! What a wonderful, timeless piece this is!
How do you like to wear your wolvis? What do you combine your scarf with?
I like to combine this scarf with my beige blazer or coat. I always wear my scarves turned around only once, with a long end in the front or on my back like a cape.
Why does this scarf have a special meaning to you?
I’m excited about the fact that Griet chose me as an ambassador. Not many brands would think about inviting their own PR executive! And what an honour to be photographed. I’m not a model at all, but photographer Nathalie Samain made me feel at ease. This scarf will always remember me of this shoot. And of Griet and Nathalie of course.
What’s your most beautiful memory so far with your wolvis scarf?
It’s a memory about a general feeling of happiness. During this shoot, when I get to see a new collection for the first time… I really believe in wolvis. And I’ve told a lot of people about it!
