From time to time, we portray an #itsawolvisfriend*.

Meet Eveline, fashion stylist.

Who are you? What do you do?

I am Evelien Briand, I’m a 27 year old freelance stylist.

How are you connected to wolvis?

I did the styling for the photoshoot of this Lieux de Mémoire collection. What a nice encounter with Griet!

What do you associate wolvis with?

With long lasting quality scarves. A completely Belgian brand, making the difference with its remarkable prints.

Who would you like to give a wolvis to? Why?

Difficult! At first, I wanted to give the scarf from the shoot to my sister or mother. When I received it… (laughs) I realised that I wanted to keep it for myself!

When and how did you get to know wolvis?

I met Griet when she contacted me about a photoshoot. Working with someone new requires a process of getting to know each other… After a little while, I suggested some different ways of presenting the scarves. How great that Griet was open to these new ideas! We had a wonderful collaboration.

What’s your favorite item from the Lieux de Mémoire collection?

It was hard to choose. I had almost chosen 23rd of September, but I decided to go for 16th of July. The electric blue shines even brighter in this colour combination.

How do you like to wear your wolvis? What do you combine your scarf with?

The deep blue goes well with a completely black outfit: this emphasises the blue colour. To focus all the attention on the scarf in the picture, I chose to wear black trousers for the shoot, combined with a nude body instead of a black jumper. In everyday life, I’ll wear it with an entirely black outfit.

Why does this scarf have a special meaning to you?

This scarf will always remember me of this photoshoot and of the fact that Griet asked me to be a wolvis ambassador!

What’s your most beautiful memory so far with your wolvis scarf?

The shoot, of course, but I hope many new memories will follow…

*#itsawolvisfriend is a remarkable person who loves softness and poetry, someone who inspires with what they say and touches with what they do (or vice versa)... They are part of our #itsawolvis community, a family where connection can start with a curious "Is that a wolvis?" or a subtle nod of recognition.
